lockdown success

Blog Preston recently interviewed our owner and the creative vision behind Marsh Mill Interiors, Leona Marsh.leona marsh

Blog Preston were keen to find out more about our journey through lockdown and the success which we are so proud of.

As Leona mentions in the article.

“The commercial side of things completely dried up. In the first three months of lockdown I sold five tables. I thought ‘oh dear’ so I enlisted a digital marketing company called Bright Red to re-evaluate my sales strategy and redesign my website from the ground up.”

Through necessity, we changed our business overnight and began to cater almost solely to the domestic market.

The Perfect Table For Eating & Drinking

We were delighted with how quickly our tables were received by homeowners as they were looking to make the most of their indoor and outdoor spaces.”

People soon started to express their love of our stylish but practical furniture which is perfect for busy households.

If our tables get scratched or dinged, it adds character and only makes them look better with age. If you have a Formica or similar table top then the opposite is true, every scratch is obvious.

A Resounding Success

Marsh Mill Interiors really started to pick up around June 2020, by August we had to employ extra staff and by November we moved into a bigger workshop. We couldn't be more grateful to all of the wonderful customers who have supported our business.

A Great Team

We are really proud to now employ eight members of staff which includes an 18 and a 19 year old, who might otherwise have struggled to find work or job experience in the current climate.

One of the things we are most proud of is how our business was able to employ people who’d previously lost their jobs in other industries, through no fault of their own.
